“Tsogt Taij" stone inscription

The Inscription consists of two parts: poetry and postscript. About 400 years ago (September 6th , 1621), a Mongolian nobleman named Tsogt Taij [Čoɣtu Tayiǰi] (1581-1637) improvised a poem in memory of his aunt who was far away. Three years later, his followers engraved this poem on a rock cliff, which is the famous Tsogt Taij [Čoɣtu Tayiǰi] Stone Inscription.
